Gregory Holder spent 15 years serving as a sworn officer with the WA Police Force prior to joining the WA Prison Officers Union in August of 2020.
Having served in frontline roles his entire career, Gregory has lived experience of how working in a high pressure environment can have a negative effect on someone's mental health.
Gregory was an original facilitator of the WA Police Force's contextualised Mental Health First Aid program for Police Officers in 2013, and continues his work to raise awareness of mental health with WAPOU.
Beven Hanlon has an extensive career in Corrections, having served at Hawke's Bay Regional Prison for 17 years, from 1998 to 2015.
Beven then transitioned into an Industrial Officer role with CANZ, supporting members who faced both professional and personal challenges.
Beven was a driving force in the adoption of Stand TALR in New Zealand, where it has been successfully delivered since 2018.
